IRACDA Programs Nationwide
The
Division of Minority
Opportunities in Research (MORE) of the NIH with an initiative
called the Institutional
Research and Academic Career Development Award (IRACDA)
currently funds 15 programs including FIRST which are designed to combine
a traditional mentored postdoctoral research experience with an experience
to develop teaching skills through innovative programs that involve
mentored assignments at a Minority Serving Institution (MSI).
